Lava Whirlpool

Just another basic tutorial I got when screwing around with web design.

Take your gradient tool and set it to difference, then go nuts with the tool until the entire picture is filled with a bunch of black and white lines.

Duplicate your layer, and go to Filter > Distort > Wave and use the default settings.

Set the layer mode to lighten

Merge all the layers using CTRL + E

Duplicate your layer again, and go to Filter > Distort > Twirl and set it to 487

Set the layer mode to lighten, and merge again.

Invert your layer using CTRL + I

Make new new layers. One named "Red" and the other "Green" and make sure Green is on top of Red

Fill the Red layer with the normal red color (#FF0000) and set it's mode to "Overlay"

Fill the Green layer with the normal green color (#00FF00) and set it's mode to "Soft Light"

You're done.
