Japanese Scroll Tutorial
Give Photoshop some Japanese lessons I must note, this tutorial is very basic. It requires no skill what-so-ever. First, make a new image. It doesn't matter what size. I always go with 1024x768. Next, change both of your colors on your pallete. On one, use the color 754C24, and on the other, use C69C6D. Go to Filter > Render > Clouds. You may keep hitting CTRL + F until you get something you like. Now to make it look a bit like it was done on rice paper. Go to Filter > Sketch > Water Paper, and use the following settings. Fiber Length: 15 Brightness: 55 Contrast: 60 Now you just need to add in some Japanese text and that would be all. If you can't type in anything, you can download a Windows Kanji font here: [link] Make sure you set it so that it goes downward and just start hitting some random text. Set the layer to "Overlay" and you're finished. You can also choose to add in a burnt edges effect if you like. Just search for it on Google or something. |

Some will call you dogs of war, others, tyrants and puppets. Know in your heart that you are a noble warriors asked to do terrible things so that one day we will know peace. Be ever alert, ever vigilant. Do not doubt what you know to be the truth.

That way you can actually make meaningful things like wall scrolls, runes, etc. to suit yourself.
Yer welcome! ^_^
